Boise State University Graduation Photos
Welcome!
Thank you for considering me as your graduation photographer! Each year, I set aside two weeks in April to focus on grad photos, and it’s something I genuinely look forward to. I love the celebratory energy on campus and getting to hear all about your achievements and future plans. I’m a full-time photographer based in Boise, and for the rest of the summer you’ll usually find me outdoors either playing in the moutains or photographing something.

All group sessions include both group and individual photos. Your group can decide how you’d like to divide the time — whether that’s a mix of group, small-group, and individual portraits, or focusing solely on group photos.
Please keep in mind that larger groups and multiple locations require more time. For example, with a group of 10 or more, it may not be possible to capture extensive individual portraits at every location. Prioritizing what matters most to your group will help make the most of your session. If individual portraits are a top priority and you want to ensure dedicated time for each person, there is always the option to book an additional mini session.
1. WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY?
For spring 2026, I have availability between April 10th-20th I will work with you individually to select a date and time slot.
2. WILL YOU RESCHEDULE IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Idaho weather can be wildly unpredictable, especially in the spring, so I only reschedule when conditions would prevent me from delivering high-quality photos. I don’t reschedule for cold temperatures, but I will reschedule in the case of heavy, continuous rain, snow.
If you’re checking the forecast and see rain, don’t stress just yet! Idaho weather changes quickly, which is why I make all weather-related decisions on the day of your session. If needed, rescheduling will happen about three hours before your start time. Many locations offer natural overhangs (like the Capitol), and I also bring clear umbrellas to keep you and your group dry between spots if needed.
3. DO YOU OFFER PRINT PRODUCTS?
Yes! You receive a print release with every package, however, I do offer professional prints, canvases and more through my online store.
4. HOW SOON WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
I guarantee a turnaround time of 1 weeks after your shoot date. If I can deliver sooner than expected I will. I know how excited you are to get your photos back and to share them close to graduation!
5. WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY SESSION?
Beyond your cap, gown and stole (steam for best results), feel free to bring any props. Yes, we can capture photos with champagne, diploma covers, etc. You may want to bring a water bottle and extra pair of walking shoes to your session (unless your shoes are really comfy 🙂).
6. DOES IT COST EXTRA TO INCLUDE FAMILY MEMBERS TO MY SESSION?
There’s no extra charge to include family members in your session. Group pricing applies only to graduates who will also be receiving their own cap-and-gown photos.
7. DO YOU RECOMMEND WALKING OR DRIVING BETWEEN LOCATIONS?
Unless your locations are walkable you should plan on driving or Ubering between locations. I can fit 4 people in my car if needed. Parking can sometimes be challenging in popular areas. Plan for the commute.
8.HOW DO I GET MY CAP AND GOWN?
Boise State has begun selling their cap, gown and other regalia year-round. Take a trip to the Bronco shop if you have any questions or order online. The total cost is around $70 - $90. Pro tip: choose the correct cap size and don’t forget to STEAM (not iron) your gown and stole!
